The OGFA aims to encourage and strengthen the fraternity, understanding and friendship among the peoples of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany. It also plays a pivotal role in bringing closer ties of friendship, unity and goodwill among its members. In collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and associations, OGFA also acts as a bridge in promoting trade, investment and economic linkages between Oman and Germany.
